It manifests a peculiar power in restraining inllammation, removing stagnation, cooling the heated blood, and checking all acrimonious and unhealthy discharges. Diseases attendant on Childhood. —Diseases incident to early life fall more under the management of the mother tuan the medical man. liolloway's ointment should therefore be regarded by her as a "household, treasure," as it never lails in bringing out the rash m measles and scarlatina: and for t'ie removal of all skin diseases its elfect is marvellous.
