Bendall, from Poverty Bay, arrived in port at 3 o'clock this morning. The s.s. Star of the South will steam hence for the Thames and Auckland at 11 o'clock t;?-morrow. The schooner Columbia will, we believe, pail lor Lyltelton to morrow. The schooner Saucy Lass left Auckland for Uapier via Mercury tJay on the 9th inst. The p.s. JNebraska, hence at 3.30 p.m. on the 10tn inst., did not reach Auckland until JO.oO p.m. on the 12tli inst., having encountered very heavy weather on the passage. The schooner Cuileen Bawn has been sold at \Vangauui for iidUO. The new steamer longariro made a -uccessful trial trip at VVangauui on toe tjth inst.
