FROM GREVILLE'S TELEGRAM COMPANY Reutefa Agents. WELLINGTON. Monday, June 10. Mr. Gillqn has been appointed manager of Mr Vogel's new press telegraphic agency, at a salary of £A per day, with a year's agreement. The agreement has been sigued by Mr Vogel and by Mr Reeves. It is understood that Mr W. H. Harrison, editor of the Wellington Independent, will be iuauaging director at a salaij- of £SO per annum, —Messrs. Yogel and Reeves being also directors. These salaries are in addition to JSSOO a ear to be p.iid to the Australian Associated Press agency. BLUFF. Monday, June 10. When the s.s. Rangitoto wa- leaving the harbor this morning, a man was found hanging by a rope in the gangway. On beiusj taken down he was found to be quite dead. On the body was found a pocket book, containing a draft for ,£294, in favor of John Roddon. The deceased was unknown on board the steamer.
