"ROPE OF MEANEE" TENT, 1.0. R., MEANEE. ! OPENING FESTIVAL ! 1 OF MEANEE" Tent will be celebrated on FRIDAY, 24th of May, (Queen's Birthday), when TEA will be piovided in LEVER'S HALL. After tea a Public Meeting will be held, when several addresses will be delivered by members of the Order. The proceedings will be varied by Songs, Recitations, &c. A Procession will be formed at Taradale, opposite the paddock of the late Mr John Hammond, where Brethren are requested to assemble at half past 3 o'clock. The Band of the Napier Rifle Volunteers have kindly given their services, and will be in attendance. Tea on the table at 4.30 p.m. Tickets—Adults, 2s6deach; children under 12, Is—may be had from the Secretaries of the several Tents, at the various stores, Meanee, and at Mr Schultze's store, Havelouk, and at the Hawke's Bay Times office, Pon Ahuriri.
