A schooner —supposed to be the Saucy Lass, from Mercury Bay, with timber —has been in the Bay throughout today, but owing to the prevailing calm has not yet reached the anchorage. The s.s. Napier will steam hence for Poverty Bay at 7.20 to-morrow morning. The schooner Edward will probably sail tomorrow for Pieton.
