The ketch Mary A.nn Hudson, E. Baxter, piaster, from Wairoa, arrived in port during last night, bringing 5 empty casks, 4 packages Juggage, and 2 passengers. The s.s. JNfdpier, Capt. Bendall, arrived in port at 7 o'clock this morning, bringing a cargo oi' grass seed and I'ruit, and several passengers. Bhe left Auckland at 10 a.m. on Sunday last, 24th, and encountered strong head winds with heavy easterly hwell crossing the Bay of Plenty, iiounded the East Cape at 4 p.m. on Monday, and at 8 o'clock the same' night came to an anchor olf Matahu, where 14 tons ot cargo and 3 passengers were Janded. Left Matahu at noon on Tuesday, and ui 3 p.m. anchored oil i'ologa Bay, intending to land cargo and passengers, but ■was unable tu so, owing to the heavy surf on the beach. Proceeded on to Poverty Bay, arriving there at 8 p.m. the same day. At 7 a.m. yesterday entered the river, and landed cargo from Auckland, also shipped cargo for .Napier. Left Poverty Bay at 8 p'clock last evening, and arrived here as above. The s.s. ibtar of tiie tioutl), Uapt. Homies, left Auckland at 5.3 U p.m. on Monday, 25th }..st., and had light easterly weather to Cape Cuiviile; i'roic thence, head winds to the Kast Cape, which was rounded at 9.30 a.m. yesierduy. Pine weather from thence to port, arriving here at 8 o clock this mormng.—i'he •Star leaves for Auckland at 9 o'clock to-mor-row morning.
The briguntine Flirt leaves port to morrow, for I/ytteltou —not Oamaru, as previous!,)' intimated.
The cutter Mahia, with a full general cargo for Wairoa, is expected to get away to-night. The s.B. iiangatira, henoo at ti p m. on Tuesday, arrived at Wellington at 645 last evening. The s.s. J£eera, we learn, may be expected to arrive from Wellington o.t or about the 4th April.
