The butter irom New Zealand per Moses Taylor (about 800 kegs, chiefly from the Middle Islandj has pot yet been placed in the market. We have a very fair parcel in our hands, which we are sanguine will yield a good margin to our constituents. English Mails ; We anticipate that considerable disappointment will be experienced in the Qolonies by the arrival of the s>b¥aska without an English Mail. No mails have oome to hand here from the East lor upwards of a fortnight, the North Pacific

Railway being for the time blockaded with snow. We understand that the N.P. directors contemplate erecting snow sheds after the manner of the Central Pacific Railway Company, which has by these means kept open their line the entire winter. If this resolution is carried out it is anticipated that the line will be always free from stoppage in future, and thus prevent the most serious inconvenience that the present nondelivery of mails must occasion, especially to New Zealand. —Erom Morison, Middelton and Co.'s Circular.
