The g.§. N,apier, Captain Bendall, left Napier on Tuesday last at noon, arrived off Blackhead at 7 o'clock the §auie evening, and came to an anchor at 5 o'clock the next morning. Landed stores and wire, and at 10, a.m. proceeded to Cape Turnag:dn, where she landed 8 tons of wire, and left for Mr St. Hill's wool-shipping place, but the sea being too'heavy for shipping Wool, proceeded on to Napier, arriving here at 7 o'clock this morning —The Napier will steam for Poverty Bay at 7 o'clock to-morrow morning. The s.s. Rangatira will steam for Welling Jon and the South at 9 a.m. to morrow. The schooner Cora, from Napier via Wellington, arrived at Dunedin on the 18th inst. *" The G-overnment p.s. Luna, from Taranaki, arrived at Wellington on Sunday last. The brigantine Esther left Wellington for Blackhead on Saturday last. The barpjue Hevershatn, from Newcastle, with coal, arrived at Wellington on the 25th |nstant. The ship May Queen, for London, with passengers apd a large and valuable cargo of wool, preserved meats, and other pro luce, left Port Chalmers on the 19th inst.
