The b.s. Rarieetjra, Capt. Repner, left Port Chalmers at 8 a.m. on the 21st inst., and encountered a strong N.E. gale, with a high arid rising sea. Bore up at 10 a.m. for shelter, and anchored in Waikouati Buy. Remained there until midnight, when, the gale having abated, proceeded on her voyage. Arrived at Oamaru at 6 a.m. on the 22nd, and, having taken in pargo, left at 10 a.m. the same day. From thence had light baffling N.E. to S.E. winds, with a heavy N.E. swell. Approaching Banks' peninsula fell in with a strong S W. gale and thick rainy weather. Arrived at Lyttelton at 6 a.m. on the 23rd, and left at 9 p.m. the same day. palled at Kaikoura the next morning, and remained there one hour, landing cargo and embarking passengers. From thence, experienced light N.E. winds till arrival at Wellington at 6.30 pm. on the 24th inst. Lelt Wellington at 0.30 p.m. on theliVtl) instant (yesterday) j had light variable winds, fine weather, and sinopth water, and brought up in Ahuriri roadstead, at 1.15 this afternoon.
