An attendant at Mount Vernon not long ago observed a lady weeping most her handkerchief to her eyes. Xroing up to her, he said, " Are you in trouble madam ?'' " No, sir," *he sobbed. " I saw you weeping." "Ah,' ; she said, f how can one help weeping at the grave of the Father of his Country 1 " " Ob,, madam," said he, " that's it. The tomb's over yonder. This is the icehouse."
