The s.e. Napier, Captain Bendall, left Napier on Monday last, 22nd inst., at 5.30 p.m., and arrived at Wangawehi at 5 a m. on Tuesday; left again at 9 a.m., and arrived at Poverty Bay at noon. Landed passengers and cargo, and left again for Tologa Bay at 430 p in. j anchored at the latter place at 930 the same night. On Wednesday and Thursday was engaged in shipping wool from Messrs. Rhodes and Co J a station. Left Tologa Bay at .12.30 p.m. on Thursday, and arrived at Poverty Bay at 430 p.m. the same day. Left for Napier via Wangawehi on Friday (yesterday) at 6 30 p.m., and arrived in harbor at 8 o'clock this morning. Capt. Bendall reports having experienced strong southerly weather with heavy swell along the coast. Cargo : 192 bags grass seed, 40 bales wool, 30 cases fruit, Watt Brothers ; 120 bags grass seed. —The Napier will take her departure for Poverty Bay again at J 8 o'clock on Monday evening next. The schooner Cora, Capt. Russell, bringing a full general cargo from Dunedin, arrived in port this morning. Reports having left Port Chalmers on Sunday last, 21? t inst. Experienced adverse winds during the first part of ;the passage, a'pqi favorable winds afterwards.

.The s.s. Star of the South, hence at 3.30 p.m. yesterday, was sighted from the s.s. Napier at 1 o'clock this morning, to the northward of Table Cape. The s.s. Phoebe maybe esprcted to arrive here .froa: Auckland on or about Monday next, and will steam hence shortly after arrival for Wellington and the South. The ketch Mary Ann Hudson is being recaulked and otherwise overhauled j as soon as which is completed she will commence loading for Wairoa and Mahia, and will probably sail early during the incoming week. The barque G-lenhuntly has now on board upwards of 700 bales oi wool. We learn that •no more wool will be shipped until Thursday next.

The schooner Saucy Laas may, wc believe, be shortly looked for here from Auckland via the coast, with a cargo of timber for Mr J. LeQ.uesne.

The s.B. Keera is advertised to steam for Wellington on Monday next, 29th hist.
