"OTXCJE is hereby given that Go vernra.ent Insurance and Annuities Offices, under " The Government Annuities Act, 1869," and " The New Zealand Government Insurance and Annuities Act, 1870," have been opened at the Pest Offices at NAPIER, TA-ÜBANGA, GKEYTOWN, And all the principal Money Ordei Offices in the Colony. The following advantages are soured by special provisions in the above mentioned Acts: 1. Up to a certain amount, Assnr ance Policies buna fide effected by the Assured upon his own life, and Endowment Policies, : and Annuities purchased for the benefit of Wife or Children, are .exempted from the operation of Bankruptcy Acts, and from seizure under legal process. 2. Up to a certain amount, Married Women may effect Policies, and dispose of the money assured by will, as if single; and such Policies are free from the debts and control of their husband*. 3. Insurances may be effected for the benefit of Wife and Children, with power to apportion amount; and such insurance is to be free from the claim of creditors, to the extent of £2,000. All persons wishing to obtain Life i Insurances, Endowments, Annuities, iin mediate or deferred, or other advantages under the Acts, will receive every information and the necessary forms on application at any of the above named offices.
