The s 3. papier steamed for Mahia and Poverty Bay early this morning, with 2 cows, 1 Jrr.p, Parsons j 2 hoi'ses and 2 cows, Caulton ; and a large cargo of merchandise.

The s s. Rangatira steamed for Wellington and Southern Ports at 5 o'clock this morning, with 250 bales of wool, Kinross and Co j 143 boxes soap, and 2 boxes candles, Neal and Close ; 20 bags grass seed, W#tf Brothers j and sundry other cargo. The schooner Hero sailed for Wairoa this morning', with a general cargo.

The brig Venus is now discharging her ballafct alongside the outer wharf.

The barque JJallarat completed the discharge of her inward cargo yesterday. The s.s. Keera left Wellington for thi3 port late last night, and may be expected to arrive hero to morrow morning. She will leave here again to-morrow night for Poverty Bay, Tauyanga, and Auckland.
