AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKET. (Reports to Dec. 2.) [MESSRS. HUNTER AND NOLAN.] Hobses : The number entered was not quite so large as last week, nor was the description good. Bidding was rather dull, and f'ales somewhat difficult to effect, but about the average number of low priced horses were disposed of, at prices showing little alteration in value since last week. - Hacks sold from £Q 7s6dtoJlo 15s; light harness, £l2 to ,£l6. No draught offered Cattle: The supply of dairy and store was not so large as has been the case for some time, vendors being indisposed to force them forward in the face of the dry weather, but purchasers were in attendance, and all in were sold at current rates. The sea-onablo rain will doubtless give renewed vitality, and and graziers have their stocks made up before the new year. Fat cattle were in moderate supply, but generally light, weights. All in were sold at from 27s 6d to 30s per lOOlbs. Sheep offered in limited numbers, but were in active demand at from 14s to 21s. A very large number of lambs were penned; bidding was spirited, but prices receded for largest size; fair average at about last week's pi-ices. Pigs : Supply short of medium and heavy weights, a good many small pigs were yarded, selling at from 4s 6d to^lTs.
