A lady tourist in Switzerland has bi'en killed by falling over a precipice several hundred feet deep. The European Mail .says :—Various rumors are afloat in commercial circles regard tin; mail routes to the colonies, via San Francisco,. It is said that there is a probability of Mr Yfebb and MiHall being asked to sell their respective interests to an English company. Mr Webb is expected in London in a fewweeks, and Mr Hall is sending an agent to represent him in the matter. If these proposed negotiations come to nothing, it is not improbable that the Pacific Mail Company will enter the field as purchasers.
