Hero, schooner, for Wairoa, on Monday pest THE s.s. Star of the South steamed for the Thames at Auckland at 6.30 last evening with cargo as already reported. The Colonial Government p.s. Luna took her departure for Wellington, this afternoon The schooner Hero will leave for Wairoa about Monday next. The Wellington Independent, Nov. 1, says : —The ship Halcione has now on board 750 bales flax, 800 bales wool, 309 pkgs fallow, and other colonial produce. She is fast filling up with cargo and passengers, and will sail on her advertised date [early in December]. Only a few cabins remain disengaged.
