The brigantine Amherst, Captain Hair, from Hewcastje, N.S.W., arrived here this afternoon, after a passage of 15 davs She brings 220 tons coal, consigned to Messrs. Watt Brothers, The s.s. Star of the South leaves for the 'Thames and Auckland this evening, with 60 head cattle and 400 sheep. The cutter Greenwich sailed for Moeangiangi this morning, with a general cargo.
