Arrived at Tauranga at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Left at 2 p m., but owing to thick weather and head winds came to an 'anchor at the heads. Remained there in company with the Luna until Monday morning, resuming her voyage at 3 o'clock. Arrived at Poverty Buy at 4 a.m. on Tuesday, and If It again at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Arrived at Wangaweln at 10 p.m., and left again .it midnight. Had strong head winds and arrived here at noon to day^— The JS'apier leaves this port again at S o'clock on Saturday ovesdng, lor Poverty Bay and Auckland. The Colonial Government p.s. Luna, Capt Fairchiid, hence for Wellington yesterday forenoon, returned to port this morning about |t> 30, having had to put back when off Cape Tumagain at 7.30 last night, owing to heavy S.W. wind and sea. She wili, we believe, resume her voyage this evening. The s.s. Star of the South, Capt. Holmes, leaves for the Thames and Auckland this evening, witb 60 head cattle and 330 she«p.
