Mary Ann Hudson,ketch, for Wairoa, early Janet Ramsay, schooner, for Auckland, on Saturday next Star of the South, s s., for the Thames and Auckland, at 4 p.m. to morrow Thk s.s. Star of the South, F. Holmes, brought up in the roadstead at 9.30 last evening, bringing a general cargo and several pasBangers. She left Auckland at 3 pm. on Saturday la t, 7th inst., with a strong increasing nor'-east breeze. At 6 p.ra , had to re. urn to Auckland, and resumed her voyage at 5 o'clock on Sunday morning. Experienced light N. wind and rainy weather until midnight, when a heavy westerly gale sprung up. At 7 o'clock on Monday morning, put into Hicks' Bay {o<shelter, and resumed her voyage at 6 o'clock the same evening. Had moderate westerly winds and heavy southerly sea until arrival here as above. —The Star will gteam for the Thames and Auckland to-morrow afternoon. The Colonial Government p.s. Luna, Capt. Eairchild, left Whakatane at 8 a m. on Thursday last, sth inst., for lauranga, where she arrived at 6 p.m. the same day. Lett again at 9 that night, bound for Opotiki. Owing, however, to an extremely deiire fog, had to come to an anchor at the in company 'with the s.s. Napier. Resumed her Voyage at 4 a.m. on Sunday last, and arrived at Opotiki at 2 p.m. the same day. Finding the sea too heavy to enter the river, had to run for Ohiwa, a distance of 6 miles. On Monday morning, embarked 57 Ngatiporou natives and 12 prisoner? (including two of Te Kooti's wives) Left Gliiwa at noon on Monday, and arrived at Tuparoa at midnight; landed natives, and left at 2 o'clock on Tuesday morning for Poverty Bay, where she arrived at 1 o'clock the same afternoon. Left for Napier at 2 p.m., went under eaoy steam throughout, and arrived here at 3.30 this morning. Experienced head winds ever since leaving Tauranga.—The Luna steamed for Wellington at 10 o'clock this morning, conveying a large number of passengers. The schponer Janet Ramsay, with a cargo pf potatoes, &c, will sail for Auckland about Saturday next. The brigantine Flirt, hence on the 29th ult.. arrived at Auckland on the 7th inst.
