Mr John Maktin has offered the natives £35,000 for the Seventy mile Bush.
Mr Vogel said to-day -that the San Francisco steamers would not run down the coast now, because they required docking. A committee has been appointed to consider the establishment of a national Bank of Issne.
The Civil Service retiring pensions are under discussion. The debate is not concluded. Mr Evader Wood suggested a reduction of 2| per cent, on salaries, for the formation of a pension fund.
