At a recent meeting of the Royal Humane Society, the clasp of the society, which is onlv given in cases Vvhere &e recipient has been before rewarded with the medal, was voted to £ord Charles Beresford, R.K, lieutenant of Hot Majesty's ship Galatea, fpr saving the life of a marine serving pn board the same ship, who accidentally fell overboard in six fathoms water Port Stanley, Falkland Island, £ji the 24rth February last.
