Ahuriri, s.s., for Wellington and Southern Ports, on or about Wednesday next, 27th instant Napier, s.s., for Poverty Bay and Auckland, to-morrow night The s.s. Napier, Captain Bendall, arrived in harbor shortly after 8 o'clock yesterday morning, from Auckland via Poverty Bay. She left the former port at 6 p.m. on Monday, the 18th inst.; arrived at Poverty Bay at 12.45 a.m. on Saturday, 23rd inst.; left at 6 o'clock the same night, and arrived here as above. Experienced very boisterous weather throughput the passage, chiefly strong S.E. winds with high sea ; and had to seek shelter in consequence at Port Charles, Mayor Island, and Kawakawa. She had on board 16 passengers from Auckland to Poverty Bay, and brought on 6 to this port from Gisborne. —By advertisement it will be observed that the Napier will steam for Poverty and Auckland at 8 o'clock to-morrow night. The s.s. Keera, from Auckland, may now be looked for here at any moment. She was to leave Auckland on Tuesday last for the Bad pf Islands, and would return to Auckland, any from thence would be despatched for this port yvithout delay. The s.s. Star of the South, which left this port for the Thamts and Auckland at 10.30 a.m. on "Wednesday last, would in all probability make a smart run this trip. She was sighted from the s.s. Napier at 10 a.m, on Thursday, six miles on the Auckland side of the East Cape, being then only 23£ hours from Napier, and bowling along with a moderate S.E. breeze.
