Alexandra (Waikato), Sept. 20. Takaiti, Sept. 19, 9.30 a.m.—A party of friendly natives and Major Mair arrived here on Sunday last, and were welcomed by 1,500 of the natives assembled here. The meeting was of an exceedingly friendly nature. Tawhaio, Manuwhiri, and other notabilities ruin gled freely with the new arrivals. Yesterday was devoted to various amusements, war dances, &c. Rewi has appointed to-day for business. Kawhia and other tribes are hourly expected here. Kaku (Todd's murderer) and party insulted the friendlies twice on the road up. They were turned out here by Whitit'oa. Manuwhiri will not recognise them in future.
