Star of the South will steam for the Thames and Aucklaud this evening, with 58 head cattle and 330 sheep. The brig Maggie was brought into the Iron Pot this afternoon. The date of the Rangatira's departure hence for Wellington has been altered from Wednesday to Thursday next. The s.s. Lord Ashley has been taken off the New Zealand coast trade. She was announced jn the Auckland papers to leave that port for Sydney on Saturday list. The American barque Robert, from Baker's Island, bound for Cork with a cargo of guano, put into Auckland on the 19th iust., in a Jeaky condition. The ship Beth Shan, from Nelson, arrived at Auckland on the 20th inst. ghe would load for London direct. The schooner Bifieman, from the Chatham Islands, with a cargo of sheep, potatpes, &c, arrived at Auckland on the 19th inst. The schooner Eairy, from Kaiapoi, with a cargo of flour, bran, &c, arrived at Auckland pn the 20th inst., having been six weeks on the passage. Encountered very severe weather during the voyage, and four tons of fJour had to be thrown overboard in order to save the vessel.
