Aspasia, schooner, from Lyttelton Star of the South, s.s., from Auckland Mary Ann Hudson, ketch, from Wairoa Luna, p.s , from Wellington VESSELS IN PORT. Hero, schooner, from Wairoa Napier, ss, from Wairoa Tnree Brothers, schooner, from Arapa,wanui Greenwich, cutter (lightering) Mahia, cutter (lightering) Why Not, ketch, from Porangahau Una, steam launch The s.s. Napier, Captain Bendall, from Wairoa, arrived in port about 6 o'clock last evening. Since her departure from Napier, she has been engaged in conveying natives from Poverty Bay to Wairoa, for which work the weather was very fine, with a smooth sea. Cargo : 60 bags grass seed.—The Napier is appointed to leave port at 8 o'clock to-night for Mahia, Poverty Bay, and Auckland. The schooner Hero, Campbell, master, from Wairoa and Waikokopu, arrived in harbor early this morning, bringing 14 bales wool. The s.s. Rangatira steamed for Wellington and the South at 2.45 this afternoon, with 4 casks tallow, 27 bales wool, LOS bags potatoes, 1 horse, &o. The Wanganui Herald of the sth inst. reports that the steamer Go a-heacl has gone ashore on the south beach at Manawatu Heads, and it ia doubtful if she can be got' off.
