AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKET. (Reports to July 22.) [MESSRS. HUNTER AND NOLAN.] pATTLE : A marked increase in the number penned. Dairy stocks were adequate, and for well bred animals at their profit the competition was good at from £7 to £l2. Dairy cows sold readily at from £4 to £5 ss. Stores were unequal to requirements, and sold freely, and as usual graziers are stocking. We anticipate a continued improvement. Fat beasts were in insufficient numbers to supply the wants of the trade. All were sold readily at from 22s to 24s per 1001 bs. Sheep were of inferior description, and limited in numbers. Prices advanced from Is to 2a per head each. Pat sheep aud stores are both in good request, and command ready sales at full rates.
