"OTICE is hereby given that Go vermuent Insurance and An: nuities Offices, under "The Government Annuities Act, 1869," and " The New Zealand Government Insurance and Annuities Aet, 1870," have been opened at the Pest Offices at FA PIER, TAURANGA, GREYTOWN, And all the principal Money Order Offices in the Colony. The following advantages are secured by special provisions* in the abovementioned Acts :

1. Up to a certain amount, Assurance Policies bona fide effected by the Assured upon his own lite, and Endowment Policies, and Annuities purchased for the • benefit oi' Wife or Children, are exempted from the operation of Bankruptcy Acts, and from seizure under legal process. 2. Up to a certain amount, Married Women mav effect Pol Lies, and dispose of the money assured by will, as i+ single; and such Policies are free from the debts and control of their husband*. 3. Insurances may be effected for the benefit of Wife and Children, with power to apportion amount; and such insurance, is to be free from the claim of creditors, to the extent of £2,000. All persons wishing to obtain Life Insurances, Endowments, Annuit-ie?, immediate or deferred, or other advantages under the Acts, will receive every information and the necessary forms on application at any of the above-named offices.
