She left this port on Thursday, Ist June, and arrived at Poverty B;iy the next day; discharged cargo and passengers, and shipped 45J sheep for Auckland ; left Poverty'Bay at 9, p.m. on the 3rd inst, and arrived at Tauranga at midnight on the 4th ; Jeft Tauranga at 2 p.m. on the sth, and arrived at Auckland early the next morning. Left Auckland again at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 10th inst.; experienced variable winds with thick weather and rain until clearing Hauraki Gulf, when the wind chopped into the west ward, and blew strong, with heavy squalls. Rounded the East Cape at 5 p.m. on Sunday, and arrived at Poverty Bay at 3 a.m. on Monday ; landed cargo and the following passengers ; —Mr and Mrs Griffin, Mrs Murphy and fiix children, Mr King, and Mr Horsfall Took on board passengers, &c, and left Poverty Bay at 2 p.m. yesterday ; called in at Wangawehi at 5 p.m., and left again at 7 p.m. ; experienced fresh westerly winds, and arrived in the Iron Put at 3 o'clock this morning.—lt will be seen by advertisement that the Napier is announced to steam for Poverty Bay and Auckland via Tologa Bay at 10 o'clock tomorrow night. The Colonial Government steamer Luna, papt. Fairchild, left Napier »t 1.15 p.m. yesterday, and arrived off Wairoa at 6 p.m. —too dark to communicate with the shore. At daylight this morning landed despatches for Major Ropata, and lt-fi for Napier at 10 a.m., ar riving here at 245 p.m. paptain Eairchild reports very heavy weather outside. Tlie s.s. Star of the South, hence, arrived at the Thames on Eriday last. The schooner Meteor was advertised in the Auckland pipers to leave for this port via the poaat on Monday last. The barque Mary Russell Mitford was to leave Auckland on Sunday last for New York, with a large cargo of kauri gum, flax, &c. A late Nelson pa,>er says :—We find in the Home News that the Beth Shan, which sailed from London for Nelson early in February, was, in the first week in March, still in the phannel. It will therefore in all probability be another month or six weeks before slie is signalled here.
