Monday, May 22. The Caledonian Company have lodged 20,000 ozs. The same company have since taken out upwards of eight cwt. of rich specimens, estimated to contain 3,000 ozs of gold, which is to be lodged this afternoon.

The Nonpareil Company have taken out some splendid specimens. The Middle Star Company have crushed three tons for a yield of six ozs. of gold. A crushing of 47 tons for Dixon's JSTo. 1 gave 194 ozs. of gold.

A new reef has been opened in the Golden Line claim, which has caused script to be enquired after. The newreef is supposed to be the Golden Crown No. 2, and has every appearance of containing gold.
