Andrews, arrived in the roadstead at 930 thi* morning, from the South. We are indebted to Mr Pringle, the purser, for files, and for the following report: Left Port Chalmers on Wednesday, May 17, at 630 p.m.; had strong southerly wind with heavy south-east sea ; steamed easy throughout the night, and arrived off Timaru at 5 o'clock the next morning; steamed from thence at 9 p.m., and arrived at Akaroa at 5.15 a.m. on Friday ; left again at 6.30 a.m., and arrived at Lytttlton at 11.30 a.m. ; she brought up with two anchors, as it blowing a heavy S.W. gale, and in consequence of which she could not get alongside the Railway Wharf till the afternoon. Left Lyttelton «t 5 pm. on Saturday ; had light variable winds, and arrived at Wellington at 9.50 a.m. on Sunday. Left Wellington at 12.20 p.m. yes terday ; passed Cape Palliser at 3.30 p.tn , and arrived here as abo'e.—The Ashley steamed northwards at 2 10 this afternoon. The ketch Glimpse, from Pourerere, bound to Wellington, put in to this port this morning, short of water. Captain Croucher reports having left Wellington on the 7th inst., arriving at Pourerere ou the 9th; landed cargo, and took on board a quantity of tallow for transhipment to the ship England for London. Left Pourerere for Wellington on the 15th inst. Experienced a continuance of heavy southerly we ther, and, running short pf water, bore up for Napier, arriving here as above. Capt. Croucher informs us that the ketch Mosquito left Pourerere at the same time as the' Glimpse, also bound to Wellington, and that she has not been seen siuce that date (loth inst.) —The Glimpse resumed her voyage to Wellington this afternoon.
