A portion of the cargo from the wreck of the schooner Twilight has been recovered. Another man has been drowned through the upsetting of a boat. The .ship Alexandrina has armed from. London, after a smart passage of eighty eight days. The brig Waver] v has arrived from Adelaide with a cargo of wheat. She reports two barques on the berth loading grain for Auckland.
There are claims at the Thames yielding well. The Caledonian scrip is declining; serip being sold today at £l lO ; Thames, £2O ; Tookey's, ,£l4, rising; Prince Imperial, £4 10s; Cures, 4s ; Moanatairis, £4. The Caledonian Company will probably pay a ,£lO dividend on Tuesday next.
