We learn from a West Coast paper that the hon. Mr Sewell, Minister of Justice, accompanied by Mrs Sewell, recently arrived in Hokitika by the Christenurch coach. Mi Sewell is said to be inspecting the gaols and lunatic asylums of the Colony, probably in view of the approaching (sessions of the Assemblv lb. the creation of a Central Establishment of both kinds for the whole of the Middle Island.
