Wednesday, May 3. Tawhiao has written to Tito Kowaru, telling him to kill the pakebas. Tito Kowaru replied that he wonld not, as he intended lo await the decision of the Government about placing him and his people on their land, so that they may remain at peace. The Taranaki News did not appear on Saturday as usual.
