TAURANGA.
Wednesday, April 12. The natives are congregating at Ohinemuri; they are determined to open up the Te Aroha gold fields, and remove the obstacles to the overland mail. The natives have commenced to-day to make the trunk road to Waikato. A flotilla of canoes conveying stores is now in sight, and causes great excite ment and rejoicing among the natives.
