Hawke's Bay Times. Nullius addictus jurare in verba magistri. THURSDAY, APRIL 6, 1871.

To morrow, being Good Friday, will be observed as a general holiday. The Weather still continues very unsettled. Heavy rain has fallen since our last. We are requested to intimate that the Rev. Mr Taylor will (D.V.) conduct Divine Service as follows next Sunday :—At Kaikora at 11 a.m.; at Waipawa at 3 p.m., and at Waipukurau at 6 p.m. The Customs Revenue at Port Aburiri ior the quarter ending 31st March, 1871, amounted to £5,848 18s Bd. Resident Magistrate's Court.— This morning, before R. Stuart, Esq., J.P., William Hebberley was brought up on the charge of having stolen a sum of money from Thomas McKay. The prosecutor applied for leave to with draw the charge, which was granted.

Tenders from parties willing to contract for the supply of rations to Constabulary and other forces, or road parties, at the posts on the Taupo line, are receivable at the General Government agent's office, up to noon on Saturday next, Bth instant.
