A murder has been committed at Eih:kihi ( Aeikato ) On the 20th nit, a member of the Armed Constabulary Force, named Muirhead, shot a coir»radd named Gilallant'U'Oiigh the breast with a ride. The unfortunate victim died an hour afterwards At. the inquest a verdict of wilful murder was returned against Muirhead. In the Supreme Court, Dunedin, Mr Pearce got 200 damages against Mr Chaplin for injuries sustained by the upsetting of the Tokomairiro coach.
