In the cure of bad legs, bad breasts, sores, wounds, and ulcers its effect is marvellous. For ringworm, scald-head, scrofula, and diseases of the skin generally, there is no remedy to be compared to it When assiduously rubbed upon the skin (previously well- bathed with warm water) this oirtment is quick y absorbed into the system, and cleanses in its passage every part to which it is applied. Glandular towellings. Bronchitis, Mumps, Quinsefl, Sore Throats, and Diphtheria.— ln any of the above diseases, immediate and pern.anent relief is obtained by effectually rubbing this detergent ointment, twice a day, upon the neck, chest, and back, It acts upon the very mainsprings of life; for through the glauds pass all new matter required for the body's reparation and all old particles detrimental to its preservation.
