The s.s. Napier, Oapt. Bendall, took her departure for Auckland via Afahia and Poverty Bay at an early hour yesterday morning.
The s.s. Star pf the South, from Auckland, may be looked for to-morrow mprning, and is almost certain to be the bearer of the English mail via San Francisco. The Hawke's Bay representatives at the Colonial rifle contest may also bo expected to return home by this opportunity.
