Friday, March 17. In the libel case—Sir David Monro against the proprietors of the Colonist —defendant applied to-day for an extension of time and enlargement of the rule under which an application was to be made for a criminal information. Granted until next sitting after vaca tion.
Sir David Monro has been served with copy of petition against his return, on the ground of certain charges —personations, bribery, and treating.
