Hawkes Bay Times. Nullius addictus jurare in verba magistri. MONDAY, MARCH 13, 1871. PROVINCIAL COUNCIL ELECTIONS.
WAIMARAMA.
In our Friday's issue a transposition of names occurred in our account of the nomination. Instead of Mr Chapman being proposed by Mr Henderson and seconded by Mi* "Russell, Mr A. E. Russell was proposed by Mr Chapman and seconded by Mr Henderson. Occasional errors of this kind are inevitable in telegrams, correspondents, for the salke of brevity, frequently omitting the necessary prepositions.
HAMPDEN. Polling day is fixed for to morrow (Tuesday, 14th. inst.)
