Election Natice. ELECTORAL DISTFIGT OF NAPIER COUNTRY. IN PURSUANCE of " The Rpgulalions of Election Act, 1870," I, George Andrew Olirer, Esq., Returning Officer fur the Electoral District of Napier Country, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the fourth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and Beventy-one, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an Election will be held for the return of two qualified persons to serve as Members of the Pro* viucial Council of Hawke's Bay for the said Electoral District; and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Police Station, Meanee. in the said Province, at noon on FRIDAY, the twenty-fourth day of February, 1871; and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on MONDAY, the sixth day of March, 1871. Clair luglis, Esq., Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Waipukurau, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the fourth day of February, One thousand eight hundred aad seventy-one, under the Public Seal of the Colouy, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as a Member of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay for the said Electoral District ; and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the School-house, Waipukurau, in the said Province, at noon on TUESDAY, the seventh day of March, 1871; and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on THURSDAY, the sixteenth day of March, 1871. Ciair Inglis, Esq., Returning Officer tor the Electoral District of Hampden, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the fourth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as a member of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay for the said Electoral District ; and that the nomination of Caudi* dates will take place at Mr Mathew'a store, Hampden, iu the said Province, at noon on FRIDAY, the third day of March, 1871; and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on TUESDAY", the fourteenth day of March, 1871.
