Election Notice. ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF NAPIER COUNTRY. IN PUBSUANCE of « The Regulations of flection Act, 1870," I, George Andrew Oliver, Esq., Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Napier Country, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the fourth (day of February, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an Election will be held for the return of two qualified persons to serve as Members of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay for the said Electoral District; and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Police Station, Meanee. in the said Province, at noon on FRJPAY, the twenty-fourth day of February, 1871; and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on MONDAY, the sixth day of March, 1871.
