DUNEDIN.
"Wednesday, Feb. 22. Mr, Ivlacaxdbew's present majority is 235. There are only two small returns to eome in, and they cannot materially reduce the majority. The schooner Banshee, 76 tons, struck on a danger off Waikouaiti. The captain escaped; but the crew of five were drowned. She had a cargo of timber from Pelorus, which was fully insured. The captain arrived in town to-night. The ketch Excelsior has sailed for Kapier.
