DUNEDIN.
Monday, Feb. 20. Bishop Moran was welcomed by all Roman Catholic congregations of the province, and an address presented to him. In reply he complains of the uiter misrepresentations of the press with regard to the proceedings of the (Ecu. menical Council.
The Church of England Synod closed on Saturday. Its next session will be held in "Wellington. At the Superintendency election, the Dunedin votes were—Macandrew, 982 ; Reid, 487, Full returns of the polling show the following result :—Macandrew, 2321 j Reid, 1726.
