The s.s. Rangatira, Capt. Renner, arrived in port at 2.30 p.m. yesterday, having left Wellington at Ipm. on Saturday. She was the bearer of a large cargo and a full complement of passengers.— The Rangatira will gteam for Wellington at 3 p.m. to-morrow.

The ketch Mary Ann Hudson, from Wairoa, arrived in harbor at 6.30 last evening. The s.s. Napior may not be expected back before Wednerday night or Thursday night, a 6, after arrival at Turanganui, she was to go (o Mahia for a cargo of sheep for Poverty Bay.

The schooner Ocean Wave sailed hence for she Chatham Islands on Saturday evening. The s.B. Lord Ashley, hence, arrived at Wellington at 11 a.m. yesterday. The s.s. Star of the South may be expected to arrive from Auckland on Wednesday night or Thursday morning, with a full general cargo. We are glad to hear that the Star is under a six months' charter to convey stock to Auckland.
