Lowest, or any Tender, not necessarily accepted. Parties tendering will require to be in attendance, with their sureties, at the Government Agent's Office at three o'clock pni., on Ist March, when Tendets accepted must be executed, and bonds entered into. Government Annuities Office, Wellington, Ist Dec., 1870. kJOTJCE is hereby given that Go ."i vermuent Insurance and An unities Uitices, under "The Government Annuities Act, 1869," and " The Lxew Zealand Governments Insurance and Annuities Act, 1870," have been opened at the Pest Offices at NAPIER, TAURANGA, GRKYTOWN, And all the principal Money Order Offices in the Colony. The following advantages are secured by special provisions in the abovementioned Acts : -- 1. Up to a certain amount, Assurance Policies buna fide effected by the Assured upon his own life, and Endowment! Policies, and Annuities purchased for the benefit of Wife or Children, are exempted from the operation of Bankruptcy. Acts, and from seizure under legal process. 2. Up to a certain amount, Married Women may effect Policies, and dispose of the money assured by will, as if single ; and such Policies are free from the debts and control of their husbands. 3. Insurances may be effected for the benefit of Wife and. Children, .with power to apportion amount; and such insurance is to be free from the claim of creditois, to the extent of £2,000.
