X Elections Act, 1870," I, Singleton Rochfort, Esquire, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Napier Town, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the fourth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an Election will be held for the return of Five qualified persons to serve as Members of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay for the said Electoral District, and that the nomination of candidates will take place at the Resident Magistrate's Court house, at Napier, in the said Province, at noon on the twentythird day of February, 1871, and that the poll, if necessary, will be taken on the second day of March, 1871.
