Electoral District of Napier Town. IN pursuance of " The Regulation of Elections Act, 1870," I, Singleton Rochfort, Esquire, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Napier Town, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the fourth day of February, od6 thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an Election will be held for the return of Five qualified persons to serve as Members of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay for the said Electoral District, and that the nomination of candidates will take place at the Resident Magistrate's Court house, at Napier, in the said Province, at noon on the twentythird day of February, 1871, and that the poll, if necessary, will be taken on the second day of March, 1871. SINGLETON ROCHFORT, Returning Officer. The following is the only Polling Place for the Electoral district of Napier Town:— The Resident Magistrate's Court-house at Napier. TN PURSUANCE of "The Regal* JL tions of Election Act, 1870," I, George Andrew Oliver, Esq., Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Give, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the fourth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as a Member of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay for the said Electoral District ; and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the School-house, West Olive, in the said Province, at noon on TUESDAY, the twenty eighth day of February, 1871; and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on the ninth day of March, 1871.
