Saturday, Feb. 11. The Mat-aura elections to-;lay created a great deal of interest. The returns re ceived are as follows : —Bel], 184; Kinross, 61; Denniston, 38.
The returns to be received are not expected to affect Mr Bell's election. Scarlatina is grea+ly on the increase.
