George Andrew Oliver, Esq., Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Clive, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the fourth day of February, One thousand eight hundred ami seventy-one, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve aS a Member of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay for the said Electoral District ; and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the School-house, West Clive, in the said Province, at noon on TUESDAY, the twenty-eighth day of February, 1871; and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on the ninth day of March, 187 J. TN PURSUANCE of " The RegulaX tions of Election Act, 1870," I, George Andrew Oliver, Esq., Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Napier Country, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the fourth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an Election will be held for the return of two qualified persons to serve as Members of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay for the said Electoral District; and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Police Station, Meauee. in the said Province, at noon on FRIDAY, the twenty fourth day of Febvimry, 1871 ; and that the Poll (if necessary) will be lakeu on MONDAY, the sixth day oi March, 1871.
